Welcome to Wardha Asmita FPC

Mission Samriddhi was in the process of setting up 5 FPOs in Wardha and Yavatmal districts of Maharashtra with the assistance of ISAP. As, there were requests from farmers from 12 villages representing 8 gram panchayats in the Wardha area, Mission Samriddhi assisted these farmers in the documentation and other procedures, and thereupon Wardha Asmita Farmers Producer Company was incorporated on 25 th March 2022 with a vision of enhancing farmers' livelihoods and making agriculture more sustainable and profitable.

The forward thinking Board of Directors ensured that both FSSAI as well as GST registration were done simultaneously. Over 130 farmers are now shareholders of this FPC, although over 500 farmers are directly or indirectly connected with the Company.

The Company provides training to the farmers on sustainable farming practices, and has ensured that remunerative prices are made available to farmers for soyabean and channa, through direct dealings with oil and dal companies.
